New Sports Workshop Informational Video

Every summer at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, the Sports Photography Workshop takes over for one week of exciting field training, classroom tutorials, networking, and shooting dozens of professional and amateur sporting events.

Colorado Rockies. Colorado Springs Sky Sox. US Swimming. Biking. Motocross and more.

“You couldn’t really put an amount on how much that is worth to someone,” said Brad Smith, The New York Times Sports Editor. “It’s really a one-of-a-kind resource that they have available to them.”

Our team of faculty and staff are professional photographers and creatives that have worked in the sports photography industry for decades.

It may be a lighting expert or a Sports Illustrated Photographer – and you are shooting right next to them as they give some of the best advice in the business.

“It’s a way for me to make contact with a really passionate, influential group of photographers who can hopefully help me to advance my career,” said Matthew Jonas, a 2011 workshop attendee.

The workshop is a fun, professional week as you interact with attendees and faculty all working to improve each day.

“This workshop has brought me to the next level. This place has elevated me,” said Phillip Chin, a 2011 workshop attendee.

Whether you’re a professional or shoot pictures as a hobby, there is a place for you at the Sports Photography Workshop. Don’t believe me? Take a look below!
