Sports Workshop Instructor Andrew Hancock Shoots Superbowl 50 for ESPN

Photographs by Andrew Hancock for ESPN.

Unless you’re a 6′ 9” power forward from the Oklahoma City Thunder, the opportunity to photograph Superbowl 50 is earned, not given. That’s why one of the nation’s premier sports photographers and instructor at the Summit Sports Workshop Andrew Hancock was assigned to shoot the game for ESPN. Andrew’s work spans the entire realm of sports photography, from the Indy 500 to the Kentucky Derby to Johnny Football at Texas A&M, and he has a very keen eye for finding the particular “moment” within a game or sporting event. For Superbowl 50, Hancock had the opportunity to photograph before, during and after the game, giving him a variety of action shots and shots of the many celebrities at the game.
