The photography industry continues to evolve and adapt to todays technologies and societal norms, but how does that affect the aspiring professional photographer? On one hand, photography equipment and resources have become cheaper and more accessible. On the other hand, the ubiquitousness of the pocket camera (the smartphone) has raised the standards and expectations for professional photographers.

To help those aspiring photographers take steps towards becoming a pro, UK-based wedding photographer Robert Sail created an infographic titled, “How to Become a Pro Photographer,” that charts a course through the oft-confusing topic of freelance and self-employed photography.
