The Business of photography
As a freelance photographer, your workflow isn’t just about keeping your files organized, it’s about running a professional business. Editors, clients, and collaborators expect fast turnarounds, reliable delivery, and properly tagged and organized files. An efficient workflow ensures you can find images quickly, meet deadlines with confidence, and maintain the trust of the people who hire you.
Without a solid system, small inefficiencies pile up: lost files, inconsistent naming, or missed deadlines can cost you opportunities. With the right workflow in place, you free up time to focus on creating, while also presenting yourself as a dependable professional. In today’s competitive photography world, your workflow is just as important as your portfolio.
