Nikon Ambassador and long-time Summit instructor Corey Rich was among the very few testers of the new Nikon KeyMission 360 and called it “a new way of thinking.”
“This is if not the first, one of the first, 3D, 4K video cameras that’s small enough that a guy like me or the neighbor can take it into the field and create virtual reality. It’s a new thing,” he said.
Companies like Samsung and Google have been strengthening their efforts towards virtual reality and putting VR into the hands of consumers, and now Nikon has joined the race towards the future of virtual reality.
The KeyMission 360 camera is only slightly larger than a GoPro Hero 4, making it ideal for mounting and for adventure photography. The camera is also shock proof and water proof.
