iOS and Android smartphones are no longer the only phones that can have the Instagram app. Instagram announced on MAR 8, 2016 that they have launched their beta app for Windows 10 Mobile smartphones, allowing them to further expand their reach in mobile photo-sharing.
Windows Central reports that the full-featured app is currently available to the public in beta testing, meaning that there are still some things that need to be ironed out with the app.
“Thanks for using Instagram Windows Beta. If something isn’t working, give feedback directly to the team by physically shaking your phone,” the app tells users. “Instagram is a simple way to capture and share the world’s moments. Transform your everyday photos and videos into works of art and share them with your family and friends.”
Windows Central said that while basic functionality is present in the app, there are some issues while taking photos and using the editor to post images.
