Moya is currently the Photo Editor and Photographer for Psychology Today magazine and an assignment photographer in the categories of food & drink, still-life, portraits, and travel, based in Brooklyn, NY.
In addition to being a photo editor and photographer, Moya teaches Studio Lighting & Assignment Photography at the School of Visual Arts.
Previously, she has held staff or consultant positions as a Photo Producer, Art Buyer or Photography Director for various media & advertising clients including Newsweek, Real Simple, Scholastic, Callisto Media, Hallmark, Lexus, Toyota, Verizon, Bank of America, Luxottica, McCann-Erickson, USA Networks, Workman Publishing and others.
Her extensive background in the world of publishing and advertising ensures her ability to produce beautiful, captivating images for clients such as The New York Times, Sunset magazine, OUT magazine, Hemispheres, Pace Communications, Forager’s Markets, Josie’s Organic produce, Endless Vacation, Children’s Health Fund, Ciroc, Travelzoo, National Geographic Traveller, FITNESS, Outside magazine, Gill & MacMillan Publishers/Dublin, Ink Global/UK.
She has been a judge for various contests and portfolio reviews over many years, especially the Palm Springs Photo Festival at PhotoPlus Expo.
