Part-time social media & marketing associate

Summit Workshops is looking to hire a part-time social media and marketing associate to aid in the day to day management of Summit’s social platforms and marketing efforts. We are looking for candidates who have strong communications, graphic design and writing skills, a willingness to think independently, and a passion for photography and storytelling. The bulk of this role will involve creating marketing materials from Summit’s library of images. This person need not be a photographer themselves. This role will be remote and be 10-15 hours per week. Hourly rate commensurate with experience. 

Essential Duties

  • Schedule and manage Instagram posts, stories, IG Lives, and reels 

  • Post to Facebook and Twitter

  • Grow social following and use social media to elevate the Summit Community 

  • Leverage social following into attracting new students and sponsors 

  • Grow Summit account as educational platform, more indicative of the services we offer 

  • Growing & continuing to post in the Summit TikTok account

  • Manage and send marketing emails

 

desired qualifications

  • Excellent ability to create effective content across social media audiences/platforms

  • Experience with the effective marketing and utilization of social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok

  • Strong writing editing, grammar, and proofreading skills

  • Ability to manage time independently and meet deadlines while tasked with multiple projects

  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Canva, and Later or Hootsuite 

  • Laptop and wifi access
