Why Summit?

Receive hands-on learning from a team of instructors

Unlike many workshops that pair students with just one or two instructors, Summit Workshops uses a dynamic team-teaching approach for optimal learning. This allows participants to gain insights from experts across different photography fields. You might start by discussing gear with a technology specialist, shoot on-location with an elite photographer, and later review your portfolio with a top editor from a national publication. This diverse, hands-on approach ensures you get a well-rounded, immersive experience that covers every aspect of your craft.

Learn from and work with Experts, Become an expert

Our instructors are not only some of the world’s top photography talents, but they’re also deeply connected within the industry. With mentors from organizations like National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, The Associated Press, and more, our workshops offer access to career-changing opportunities. Many of our past participants have gone on to great success, including Nat Geo photographer Keith Ladzinski, whose career has flourished since attending the Summit. Our network of professionals can help propel your career beyond the classroom and into the real world.

Explore the most Beautiful Places

Summit Workshops offer a unique blend of world-class photography education set in stunning locations that elevate both learning and creativity. Whether capturing the breathtaking peaks of the Grand Tetons or the rugged Alaskan wilderness, our workshops provide an immersive experience in some of the most picturesque settings imaginable. With such inspiring surroundings, you may never want to leave!
