My Story

Jeff leads the photography projects of the University of Kansas athletic department as one of the most-visual sports programs in the nation. The venerable Allen Fieldhouse at Lawrence is almost a gallery of Jacobsen’s pictures and few universities in the nation use photography as well in their publications, website and displays. Jeff, assisted by his wife, Laura, has created one of the most effective sports photography programs in the country. Previously, he was director of photography of the Topeka Capital-Journal and was once the sports photographer of The Arizona Republic.
